What Live! Casino & Hotel Will Bring for Philadelphia?

Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is projected to generate more than $2 billion in economic stimulus to Pennsylvania’s largest city. It will also generate $100 million in tax revenues for Philadelphia by 2026, including $25 million to the city’s School District.

This casino project has provided over 5,000 construction jobs and now looking to hire up to 2,000 permanent new jobs for area residents. The individuals living in the community surrounding the Stadium District will be preferred for these jobs. Additionally, Live! Philadelphia will also host two invitation-only charity nights on January 16-17. All proceeds from this will go to Philadelphia area non-profit organizations.

Enhanced Safety Measures

The planned opening comes amid the highly unusual times where the ongoing pandemic has halted almost every economic activity. The city is still considering whether to lift the ban on indoor dining on January 15. However, casinos were allowed to reopen on January 4.

Live! Casino & Hotel has resolved to put in place a strict sanitation program to ensure the highest safety measures for its guests. “Our chief priority is to provide a safe environment for our guests and team members,” Billhimer said, adding that they have gone through the strictest measures to meet and exceed Pennsylvania’s pandemic-related guidelines.
