New York Giants and DraftKings have announced they are embarking on an exclusive sports betting partnership deal. The joint-venture will benefit not only these two entities but also the fans of the popular football franchise.

This deal will allow DraftKings to operate the sportsbook, online wagers, and virtual sports lounge for the Giants. This is the third deal that the Boston-based sports betting company has made with NFL teams, the previous two being the Patriots and the Cowboys.

DraftKings, Now the Official Partner of the NY Giants

As DraftKings has announced to work as the Giants official sports betting partner, more information keeps rolling out to the public.

It has been released that DraftKings will do more than solely handling all of the sports betting operations. For instance, it will also serve as the daily fantasy sports partner with exclusive access to the Giant’s logos and trademarks to build and market the brand. However, financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed as of yet.

While speaking of the deal, DraftKing’s chief business officer, Ezra Kucharz, termed it as a “multi-segment relationship.” The statement hints at a wider scope of the deal, allowing it open to various possibilities in the future.

Additionally, it has been announced that DraftKings will have exclusive access to the Giant’s digital gaming rights, and will also operate their virtual sports lounge in the stadium. The virtual sports lounge goes live on game days when fans are unable to attend games in person.

While explaining further, Kucharz said that it about exploring ways to keep fans happy in addition to providing a stellar sportsbook experience. What makes this alliance especially exciting is that it can benefit the enthusiasts who want to be part of the action and place bets, but who are not able to get to the stadium in person.

DraftKings Wants to Play Big!

By forging the third deal with an NFL team, DraftKings has made its intentions clear: it wants to play big.

Earlier last month, DraftKings also declared a deal with the sports media giant ESPN in an attempt to integrate its content with the network. The news was so significant that it rose the company’s shares. In addition, the sports betting entity has already teamed up with the Chicago Cubs, its first partnership within the MLB.

Furthermore, DraftKings has also signed fantasy sports deals with three National Basketball Association teams. The list is continuously swelling, enabling DraftKings to expand its portfolio in an attempt to claim a leadership role in the country’s rapidly growing betting industry.
