WynnBET Partners With Tennessee’s Memphis Grizzlies

WynnBET announced Tuesday that it would make its presence in Tennessee via a multi-season partnership with the Memphis Grizzlies. Wynn Resorts also won conditional approval for online sports betting in Tennessee.
WynnBET and the Memphis-based professional basketball team will focus on an innovative online-first approach unlike the traditional sports marketing collaborations by producing and promoting high-impact experiences for both brands. WynnBET’s app will integrate with the NBA franchise and Grind City Media, an on-demand media platform and digital content studio. Besides, the online sports betting company and the Grizzlies will link-up on cross-promotional campaigns and strategies.
Grizzlies’ fans will also be able to witness one-of-its-kind live experiences from the premium online betting company, including WynnBET-branded lounge inside the team’s FedExForum arena in downtown Memphis. Additional elements will be announced closer to WynnBET’s official launch in Tennessee.
WynnBET, An Emerging Player in US Sports Betting
The Grizzlies partnership follows closely after WynnBET became an authorized gaming operator of NASCAR. The company has also been named the official online sportsbook of the Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway. The emerging digital arm of the Las Vegas-based Wynn Resorts is now live in three states, and multiple launches await regulatory approvals throughout 2021. The app will continue to strike similar sports marketing partnerships to deepen its presence across the country.
Inspired by Wynn Resorts’ expertise in sophistical brand experience and customer service, WynnBET presents an ultra-intuitive and highly responsive interface, providing hundreds of sports betting options to its fans. With its acquisition of BetBull last year, WynnBET has adopted a highly social sports-betting technology and unique experiences so that betting and winning can be enjoyed as a celebrated and shared experience.
WynnBET is currently live in New Jersey, Colorado, and Michigan. Besides, the app has market access opportunities in Nevada, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Tennessee, and Massachusetts. Recently, the company has applied for a license in the Virginia market that was launched last month. Such licensure and market access are subject to regulation and pending approvals by regulatory authorities in each state or jurisdiction.
WynnBET’s Tennessee Launch
Tuesday was a big day for Wynn Resorts as its sports betting arm achieved two milestones. Alongside its partnership with the Grizzlies, WynnBET also received conditional approval from the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation’s Board of Directors to launch its digital sportsbook statewide. Tuesday’s announcement allows WynnBET the market access to its ninth state.
Tennessee launched its online-only sports betting industry on November 1, with only four digital sportsbooks – DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and Tennessee Action 24/7. However, it was reported that WynnBET would launch any time soon. Joining late renders WynnBET a disadvantageous position in a competitive market, but the partnership with the Grizzlies will make up for the late entry to the Volunteer State’s flourishing market. Interestingly, FanDuel is also Grizzlies’ partner.
