Green Valley Ranch Casino Undergoing Major Revamp
Station Casinos revealed a series of significant enhancements this week to its Green Valley Ranch property (pictured) in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson, Nevada.
The changes, which have already begun with the opening of the new Polaris Bar, will include new dining options, gaming spaces, and a refreshed pool area.
“Over the next few months, our guests are going to see Green Valley Ranch transform in a major way,” said Vice President and General Manager of Green Valley Ranch Ken Janssen in a company blog post.
“With the arrival of the Bromberg brothers and the Blue Ribbon family to our new gaming and bar offerings, Green Valley Ranch is giving our Henderson neighbors and visitors alike another reason to visit the property.”
New Dining and Gaming Experiences
The buffet area at Green Valley Ranch, which has remained closed since the Covid-19 pandemic, will be transformed into a new restaurant row.
The first addition will be a 136-seat outlet of Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill, marking the brand’s first foray into Henderson. The Bromberg Bros., who operate Blue Ribbon restaurants, will also introduce a new Mediterranean-style restaurant at the property.
The gaming experience at Green Valley Ranch is also set for an upgrade.
The casino will soon debut a high-limit table games room featuring ten games, including single zero roulette, double-deck blackjack, six-deck blackjack — where the dealer stands on 17 — and midi baccarat.
The room will also feature an upscale gaming bar with ten bar top gaming machines. Slot machine players will also get their own high-limit room featuring 125 games and more bar top machines.

Poolside Upgrades and Future Plans
The Backyard pool area at Green Valley Ranch has also received a makeover, with new decor, cabanas, daybeds, chaise lounges, umbrellas, and a café seating area.
These changes are part of a broader plan by Station Casinos to solidify itself as a destination for Las Vegas and Nevada locals.
The company’s future plans include the opening of two new casinos in the Las Vegas area.
Durango Casino & Resort will open later this year in the Southwest area of the city, about 15 minutes off of the Strip. It will feature a 200-room hotel tower, 83,000 square feet of casino gaming space, and a retail sportsbook area.
Station Casinos has also started construction of another property in the Inspirada area of Henderson, scheduled to start in early 2024.
The Inspirada casino is expected to open in March 2025. It will have 600 hotel rooms, four restaurants, a bowling alley and a movie theater, as well as casino gaming space.
Station Casinos owner Red Rock was also in Las Vegas headlines earlier this year. It made a binding agreement with the Oakland A’s Major League Baseball team to sell 49 acres of land for a proposed ballpark that would see the team move to Las Vegas.
But then, in May, the A’s reneged on that deal to focus on the Bally’s Tropicana site. The ultimate fate of that project is still up in the air.
However, the transformation of Green Valley Ranch casino is well underway and expected to continue into 2024.
