Cashpot Casino Review

With more than 1,000 games from a wide range of software developers, Cashpot Casino makes a decent first impression. They even offer a large suite of live dealer table games from Ezugi, Smartsoft, Evolution, and five additional studios. On top of that, they have an enticing welcome package consisting of three bonuses worth up to $1,750 and 150 free spins and one of the best casino apps.

Unfortunately, the casino has some serious transparency issues and troubling business connections, and its withdrawal policy is abhorrent.

Is Cashpot Casino a Scam?

Judging by its software and game library, Cashpot Casino appears to be a normal offshore online casino. However, this façade crumbles as soon as you start looking for any company information on their website. Simply put, you won’t find any. Instead, the About Us section is full of platitudes and cliché promises:

They don’t even post their licensing information. The company address and even name is also nowhere to be found. This is because Cashpot Casino is operated by GameTech, a rogue casino network associated with the infamous AffPower affiliate group. This group was involved in an ugly piracy scandal. They are also known for making it difficult for players to cash out from their casinos.

It should be noted that while you won’t find this information on this website, all GameTech sites have been known to operate under a license issued in Curacao. This is one of the best international casino licenses, but it’s not enough for use to ever recommend playing at this rogue casino site.

AffPower / GameTech Pirated Software

GameTech’s problems started in 2016 when it turned out that they were hosting pirated Novomatic games on the casinos belonging to their subsidiary, the AffPower group. These games were quickly taken down, only to be replaced with pirated NetEnt titles.

The casino community was livid, and to make things worse, AffPower launched a negative SEO campaign on the gambling portal that was first to publish this story. To make things even more ridiculous, the pirated games were made available via, which was a half-hearted attempt to make the address look similar to NetEnt’s official subdomain,

The pirated games weren’t connected to official NetEnt jackpots, so the available progressives looked like a joke compared with their legitimate counterparts. Many experts also warned players that the bootleg software wasn’t running on an official random number generator, so the math model responsible for the outcome of each spin was likely altered, too.

Master License 1668/JAZ, Shell Companies, and Cashpot Casino’s Lack of Transparency

Eventually, the people running AffPower realized that they attracted too much heat with their little stunt, so the pirated games were removed. AffPower started blaming their parent company, and GameTech, in turn, pointed to a re-seller who allegedly misled everyone by selling AffPower casinos illegal software.

This didn’t really work out for GameTech, as the casino community remained unconvinced. Eventually, they did what most stubborn scammers do – they launched new online casino sites under a shell company called Alpha Interactive Solutions. Unfortunately for them, these casinos were still operating under GameTech’s Curacao Master License – No. 1668/JAZ.

People started using this license number to discover more fly-by-night businesses, and it turned out that the whole network could be made up of more than 20 separate legal entities and affiliate groups. As of 2023, Equinox Dynamic is likely the only GameTech-adjacent company worth knowing, as this approach was eventually abandoned in favor of refusing to publish any business information on GameTech’s casino websites.

Cashpot Casino is just one out of many GameTech gambling operations that follow a strict zero transparency policy. Other rogue casino sites on this network include Enzo Casino, Osiris Casino, OrientXpress Casino, Casino SuperLines, Casino1 Club, EuroMoon Casino, and Park Lane Casino.

Cashpot Casino Bonus Trickery

Cashpot Casino’s bonus Terms & Conditions are so unfair that they actually make many games unprofitable to play. This problem is caused by the following little block of fine print:

The 10x maximum payout limit is so low it prevents the full withdrawal of some jackpots and other large wins. Thus, the affected games lose value on the payoff side but subject the player account to the typical grind designed to give the house its standard edge.

One possible solution would be to use safe strategies and play low-volatility games, but this could allow Cashpot Casino to void your winnings and close your account:

With a 33x wagering requirement, clearing this bonus simply feels oppressive.

Cashpot Casino Unreasonable Restrictions

Opting out of the bonus won’t save you from unreasonable rules and restrictions:

If you’re a high-roller or get very lucky with a smaller account, they hit you with the $100,000 maximum winnings per day limit. If you’re a budget player, you get to deal with the nonsensical deposit-based withdrawal limit.

The withdrawal limit for players with self-imposed deposit restrictions is probably the most vile and egregious part, as it targets vulnerable people who need additional controls to keep their casino spending in check.

The $5,000 monthly withdrawal limit, which would’ve seemed unacceptable and unreasonable on any other side, is relegated to acting as the icing on the cake here. With all the predatory restrictions and limits in place, who would complain that withdrawing a modest $50,000 jackpot takes 10 months here?

Cashpot Casino doesn’t typically steal from its customers outright, but they specialize in putting them in no-win situations. The same holds true for all their sister sites and anything associated with GameTech. These casinos all run on similar software and impose Terms & Conditions that are designed to limit player withdrawal options and deny them the chance to score a big payout.

Even if you manage to turn a profit with them, it won’t be a pleasant experience. And while their collection of slots and live dealer tables is extensive, they aren’t the only place in town to offer these games – you can find those games on safe casino sites that treat their customers fairly.
