Snoqualmie Casino and Seattle Seahawks Renew Partnership, as Casino Expands

Spread the Word:

Washington’s Snoqualmie Casino has announced the renewal of its partnership with the nearby Seattle Seahawks NFL team.

This renewal of their long-term collaboration could see new experiences for fans of Washington State casinos and the Seahawks. Last time a deal was signed between the two, Snoqualmie Casino debuted a special Seahawks-branded area on their gaming floor – complete with themed blackjack tables and large TVs for game day sessions and sports news.

Looking ahead, the partnership’s renewal could pave the way for more such innovative integrations.

“As a company named one of ‘Washington’s Best Workplaces,’ our team culture means everything to us,” said Snoqualmie Casino CEO Stanford Le.

“We are proud to continue our partnership with an outstanding organization whose success also depends on a strong team chemistry and presence in our local community.”

Seahawks Innovation

Back in 2018, when the deal was first put together, the Tribe’s Snoqualmie Casino and the Seahawks partnership was one of the first of its kind in the U.S. It is still quite rare five years later, with only seven casinos having active sponsorship deals with major sports teams.

The Seattle franchise is currently 3-2 in the NFC West, heading into this week’s home game against the Arizona Cardinals. Regulated Washington online sportsbooks aren’t available. But offshore sportsbooks like BetUS have the Seahawks as favorites on the line for the win, given their impressive home form.

Football betting fans who like futures could consider the improved Seahawks to win the NFC West, which BetUS has at +200.

Fans of Washington State retail sportsbooks will be able to bet on the team from its partner casino, as sportsbooks are legal on Tribal land.

“We congratulate Snoqualmie Casino as they celebrate 15 years and an exciting expansion project, and look forward to continuing our long-term partnership together for years to come,” said Lisa Young, Seahawks VP of corporate partnerships.

Snoqualmie Casino’s Expanding Footprint

The partnership renewal comes at a time when Snoqualmie Casino is making significant strides in expanding its offerings. Not least of which is a huge new 210-room hotel and a massively expanded gaming floor, which is set to open in 2025.

The $435 million expansion project is ongoing since December 2022. The plans include an additional 11,000 square feet of gaming floor space, a full-service destination spa, a fitness center, an indoor pool with an outdoor deck, a 2,000-seat entertainment venue, and two new restaurants.

The hotel’s design is said to incorporate subtle details inspired by Snoqualmie culture. For instance, its modern slant roof design is reminiscent of the longhouses of the Tribe’s ancestors, and the artwork throughout the resort has also been carefully chosen to reflect the Tribe’s heritage.

Snoqualmie Tribe Chairman Robert de los Angeles believes the new hotel and expanded casino will benefit everyone in the local community.

“With our sovereignty recognized, we have continued to strengthen and preserve our cultural traditions, protecting our sacred places, healing our ancestral lands, and establishing enterprises that allow our Tribe to provide our families with education, health care, and housing, while also giving back to the community,” he said in May 2022, talking about the planned upgrade.
