White Hat Studios Expands US Offering To All Regulated Online Casino States

Spread the Word:

White Hat Studios, the U.S. arm of the European online casino platform and game provider White Hat Gaming, is making strategic moves to expand its presence across the nation.

Over the past few weeks, the developer has inked deals with Unibet in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and also launched its slots in the West Virginian online casino market.

That means the developer is now serving the full set of currently regulated U.S. online casino markets.

“We are thrilled to be entering West Virginia and further expanding our impressive reach within the U.S.,” said White Hat Studios CEO Andy Whitworth.

“This latest market entry means we are now active in every regulated state, a remarkable feat, and we are proud of our dedicated and talented team for making it happen.”

Strategic Collaborations in Key States

Earlier this month, White Hat finalized a deal with Unibet casino operator Kindred. It will see White Hat’s diverse range of online slot games, including hits like Almighty Buffalo Megaways and Jackpot Royale integrated into online casino platforms in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

This move is expected to enhance the gaming experience for players in these states and further solidify White Hat’s position in the market.

“Our high-quality, engaging titles will boost both player acquisition and retention. We eagerly anticipate the reception of Unibet’s players to our releases across the two states involved in the deal,” said Daniel Lechner, VP of sales & marketing at White Hat Studios.

White Hat Studios’ Solid Brand

With its recent expansion into West Virginia, White Hat Studios has now marked its presence in all legal U.S. online casino markets, underscoring its commitment to offering gaming experiences to players across the country.

Miranda McPhail, product VP at Kindred Group, waxed lyrical about White Hat’s award-winning games in a joint press release.

“Delivering players the most entertaining and varied portfolio of titles is key to our expansion plans in the U.S. and partnering with White Hat Studios will deliver on this,” she said.

“The company’s titles have quickly established a loyal fan base, solidifying its brand within the U.S. gambling industry zeitgeist. We are excited to be welcoming White Hat Studios onto Unibet across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.”

Expansion Likely to Slow Down for Now

White Hat Studios reputation is evident in its partnerships with leading operators in multiple states, including BetParx, Tropicana, Hard Rock International, BetMGM, and Mohegan Sun.

The company’s expansion strategy, combined with its experience as one of Europe’s top providers, should see this success continue in the U.S. market.

White Hat launched in its first legal state market just over a year ago, and it has now completed the set. However, its next moves will be very much dependent on which U.S. states, if any, will legalize online casino gaming in the future.

For 2023, the chances look slim as regulatory sessions in various states came to an end without a conclusion. Only Rhode Island legalized online casino gaming in 2023, with an expected launch in 2024.

However, to get in on the Rhode Island online casino market, White Hat would have to deal with one of only two companies that are licensed in the state, which looks unlikely.

Rhode Island-based Bally’s and British developer International Game Technology are the only two online casino license holders in the state, after signing a bespoke deal with legislators.
