Dallas Cowboys Former Star Dez Bryant Wins Big on College Basketball Parlay

Spread the Word:

One of the many stars who has worn No. 88 for the Dallas Cowboys, Dez Bryant has turned into quite the proficient sports gambler. Last weekend, he posted a video of him placing a bet on the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl after they fell behind in the game. This week, he posted his winning 13-leg men’s college basketball parlay that netted him $416,970.35.

As Saturday night went on, he hit on his bet of Santa Clara over San Diego. Then Wyoming beat San Jose State. Pepperdine beat Portland, and bringing it home was a win by Nevada at UNLV.

The total amount wagered to hit his big payday was $767, with odds of +54215.

His winnings were nearly three times that when a $900 parlay that was set to pay more than $1 million failed to hit when Washington lost to California. In that bet, he got wins from Colorado over USC, Oregon over Oregon State, and Michigan State over Michigan. That $900 was paying odds of +115469 and was set to pay $1,039,221.

Dez Bryant’s last contract in the NFL came with a base salary of $1.05 million for one season. For his career, he made nearly $58 million. Bryant last played in the NFL in 2020 for the Baltimore Ravens.

Not betting on the top college basketball teams seems to be working for Bryant. Of the teams that won for him, Michigan State has the best odds to win the Final Four. Michigan online sportsbooks have the Spartans at +5000 to cut down the nets in Glendale, Arizona.

Bryant is also a frequent NFL bettor, and this past season, he posted a video online of him taking the Cowboys over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13 and laying $10,000. The Cowboys won, 33-13, easily covering the 3.5-point spread and paying out -185 on the moneyline.

However, we wouldn’t recommend the same strategy that Bryant apparently uses. He had another parlay that was dependent on Taylor Fritz beating Tommy Paul in tennis. It was a $1,000 bet to win $25,000. One follower of his on Twitter commented, “Have you seen Tommy Paul play the last few weeks? Dude is on fire.”

Bryant responded, “Honestly, I have no clue. I just put him down because it looked good.”

Bryant Claims $6.7 Million Win in NFL Divisional Round

Less than a month ago, Bryant posted that he hit a major Divisional Round parlay that won him and his brother $6.7 million. Unlike with his college basketball bets or the Super Bowl bet, he didn’t post the ticket or a video of him actually placing the bet.

For his Divisional Round parlay, he says he bet on a Lamar Jackson touchdown, Jahmyr Gibbs touchdown, Mike Evens touchdown, Christian McCaffrey touchdown, George Kittle touchdown, and a Travis Kelce touchdown. He made the post at 7:52 pm ET on January 21, as the Chiefs at the Buffalo Bills game was going to halftime. He needed a Chiefs win to make the entire bet hit, which they did, 27-24.
