Caesars Debuts NFL Live Blackjack Ahead of Super Bowl
Caesars Palace Online Casino has launched a live blackjack table, themed around its official partnership with the NFL, for players at online casinos in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey.
The game has gridiron-themed felt, complete with yard lines, and features branding from the iconic NFL shield logo. The game is produced for Caesars by dominant live casino games provider Evolution.
Other than the NFL theme, it plays in the usual Evolution live casino style, with HD streaming.
“The expansion of unique live dealer content like Caesars Football Blackjack delivers in our mission to bring an elevated experience to our players that they can connect with and enjoy,” said Matt Sunderland, SVP & chief iGaming officer at Caesars Digital.
“Adding the official sponsorship lock-up logo and partnership designation, including the NFL Shield, to our live dealer content is an exciting first in the partnership we’ve enjoyed with the NFL for years.”
NFL Continues Gambling Partnerships
Considering the NFL’s flagship Super Bowl championship game is soon to be held in Las Vegas for the first time, it’s not surprising that gambling operators have upped their promotional tie-ins for the expected football betting bonanza.
In 2023, Aristocrat debuted the first machines in its series of official NFL slot games, which are currently rolling out across Nevada casinos and wider afield in the U.S.
It recently debuted the new NFL Super Bowl Link machine, with three-tiered progressive jackpots.
This week, Aristocrat itself also hit a huge promo blitz for those games, including sending out mobile advertising vehicles around Las Vegas.
The NFL also has sports betting partnerships with DraftKings and FanDuel, as well as offering in-sportsbook match streaming via apps that work with Genius Sports.
Caesars Expands NFL Deal
Caesars Palace Online Casino is run by the Caesars Digital arm of Caesars Entertainment, based in Las Vegas.
Caesars is the only online casino sponsor of the NFL, a partnership it secured in 2021. That’s not to be confused with Little Caesars, the pizza joint that also sponsors the NFL.
“Together, Caesars and the NFL are changing the way fans can experience football,” said Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Sports & Online Gaming. “We will enable NFL fans to enjoy an enhanced experience at our casinos, in our sportsbooks, and online.”
As well as the NFL, Caesars Entertainment has sponsorship agreements with seven individual NFL teams. That includes the upcoming Super Bowl contestants the Kansas City Chiefs, this year’s playoff finalists the Baltimore Ravens, and Caesars hometown’s Las Vegas Raiders.
Caesars only launched its newly rebranded Caesars Palace Online Casino in August 2023, after previously offer casino games as a sideshow to its main Caesars Sportsbook app.
The Nevada-based operator also recently lost out on its big sports media sponsorship deal with ESPN, which was unceremoniously dropped in November 2023. That’s when Penn Entertainment secured the rights to launch ESPN Bet.
